No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth

I headed to Nashville this past Memorial Day weekend and visited with friends and family. Things went okay. I was expecting to enjoy more of a relaxing time, but that was pretty much ruined the first night when I got some "helpful" advice from my brother. One thing that is important to know about me is that when people tell me to stop doing something it just makes me want to do it more (sure that is the kindergarten response, but it's the truth). That just set the tone for the rest of the weekend, but there were some highlights. We had a very nice Memorial Day cookout and I got to spend some quality time with several of my friends and my adorable goddaughter, Isabella (she still thinks I'm great-which I think is great). All in all, I am glad to be home and shall be blogging away for the summer.

too true. I know it is weird, but I wish I really was as good as she believes I am.

I am intrigued by what your brother told you not to do that you continued to do. Was it harrass his wife or slow the beer intake?? Inquiring Minds????

not the first...the second. Basically, his take was that I would be happier and thinner w/ less booze. Oh, and that my dad doesn't want to give me $$ b/c he thinks I spend it frivolously...i.e. beer. Ummm, yeah. You know, I'm just throwing away my EXCESS money on RENT, ALABAMA POWER, and WATER...

Last time I checked you are an adult who can make up her own mind... oh, and last time I checked, beer was not expensive.

maybe you could start by profiling Alabama power instead of Beer

my profile picture has more to do with a tattoo I have (it's a crown with a "K" underneath it).
