Bed and Covers Hog

I don't know how he manages it, but every night Teddy is either hogging the bed or the covers. I have not slept in a bed with a real live human in so long that any memory of how it is to actually be in competition for space is a distant (and lost) memory. I don't think I will ever be able to have any overnight guests with Teddy around anyways. Technically I have a queen size bed, but with his maneuvering it is like being perched on something akin to a twin. He manages to lie on the covers in such a way that I wake up shivering in the middle of the night and the "little prince" is snug as bug (maybe even a little too warm). I find myself clinging to the very edge of the bed as he stretches out diagonally. If I try to move him he goes limp like a protester and growls (he hates to be disturbed during his beauty rest). He only weighs about twenty pounds and is probably about 1.5 ft long, but I swear he takes up the same amount of space as a Great Dane. Hell, I'm probably going to be forced to move to the couch to get some peace. Of course, he wakes up refreshed and eager for his morning constitutional while I drag myself from bed looking like the swamp thing. I fear for my neighbors eyesight when I emerge from my lair into the glare of early morning sunlight.

I have a king and two cats. Who do you think gets the majority of the bed? 'cause it sure isn't me!

this is the very reason you should never Co-sleep. children need to have their own bed or else you'll never get them out of yours.
Since my husband came home, I've woken up every morning with a 'crick' in my neck and sore side...I miss having the bed to myself and streaching out diagonally. it's crapy to have to share (even if its your loved ones) not to mention my pregnant tummy is getting bigger and making the bed feel more full.
