Okay, so there's not really a theme to theme week...

"The last book (or magazine in certain people's cases) I read was___________ by _____________. I thought the book was __________. It was about _____________"

So, the last book I read was one that I finished last night. It was Now You See Her by Jacquelyn Mitchard. It was annoying, but okay. It was about a teenage girl who fakes her own disappearance. The book seems to try and explain why she would do something so extreme and then you find out that things are not what they seem. Ooooh, a twist!

Enjoy

The last book I read was The Million Dollar Media Rep by Michael Guld. I thought the book was insightful. It was about how you can become a TV and radio sales superstar. I don't recommend it unless you want to sell media. It has some good general sales techniques, but it focuses on media sales.

The last book I read was Out of the Dust which is a Newbery Medal winner by Karen Hesse, a historical novel about the dust bowl. This was the first novel I'd read that is written in free verse, which was interesting, but it really sparked my interest about the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression and I plan to do more reading on the subject when I'm finished with this class.

The last book I read was Divine By Blood by P.C. Cast. I thought the book was a decent sequel. I've tried to type of a description, but instead I'm going to link to amazon.

Book? I am a lazy reader... I am lucky to make it through a People Magazine.

To answer the question my style...
The [thing] I read was the notice under my door by the management company. I thought the [notice] was a waste of time. It was [letting me know] that they were going to change my air filter on Thursday.

I know, this is a boring comment. I accept it. Welcome to my life.

Katie G, was your book inspired by the Audrey Seiler case? I'm going to do the book I'm currently reading. It's called A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. It's about him hiking the entire Appalachain trail with a friend, and it is so funny! It really makes me want to get outdoors and do something with nature.

I think it might have been, the author has a history of writing fictional books "ripped from the headlines" ala Law and Order.
