Here's the Story....

Alright, so I said that there were major changes in the works. Let me review:

In the past month or so, I have...

Been to Las Vegas, Boca Raton, Miami, and Nashville

Someone that I know who I am quite fond of has been diagnosed with cancer. He is currently receiving treatment and I hope that you pray for him

I am probably being promoted at my job. Perhaps temporarily or it could be permanent. There will definitely be a probationary period, but it would mean I would be the boss for at least 3 months. Like the boss boss.

Vegas was awesome. The Beatles show was great and if you ever have a chance you should go.

Florida with the family was challenging. Spending that much time with family is always challenging. I did come home with a killer tan.

I am currently in Nashville for a work conference.

Life is exciting. I will probably post more tomorrow. Thanks for sticking with me

Love it! Love that you didn't mention you-know-want about my lactose intolerance in Vegas... Love that you are going to be boss (be a hard-ass from the beginning or else you will have to earn respect... it takes longer)... love that you have a tan and are in Nashville (want to go to a cake tasting for my wedding cake?)... it is so good to hear some good news (with the exception of your friend).

As for that, cancer is the curse of humanity. It tears lives apart and makes people hard. But, it also breeds love and support and brings out the best in the support system for those going through the tortuous event. Your friend is lucky to have you ;) We are all lucky to have you!

I wish I had more people like you in my life... just so you know, no one in my family is willing to come be with me when I have surgery because it isn't convenient... that one kind of stings and hurts.

I love you Peyton and if I could in any way possibly be there, I would. I hope everything is going well with you and just hang in there!

Hi Katie! I haven't been blogging much lately either. Just checking in to see what you've been up to!
