Here's the thing
I like my new job. I feel like I am learning alot and the people are really nice. People think I am really capable and the "perfect fit" for this position, but I keep thinking they are going to find out. Find out that I am just trying to stay a little ahead of the curve and look like I know what I am doing. This job forces me to leave my comfort zone and be more upfront and direct with people that I am working with and people that I am doing business with. I'm a bit overwhelmed, but I am still enjoying what I am doing. The upside? I am feeling like more of an adult.

I feel like an adult every now and then too, like when I see how much is taken out of my pay check for various reasons, and when I notice myself getting excited about how cheap my vision insurance is. Geez. I was already an old lady. Getting excited about insurance? There's just no hope anymore. =P
Just because it's out of your comfort zone doesn't meant it's more than you can handle! -Lydia
I've been at my job 6 months now and I'm still waiting for them to figure out that I'm a total idiot and fire me.....
Woohoooo!!!! It actually let me post a comment! First time that has happened in a few weeks!
You are more than capable of handling this job. You are so smart and competent that you could do anything you put your mind to. This is a new position so it is yours to create. Remember, there is no bar, so you can raise however far you want... and if I know my Katie, it will be pretty f^$@'n high.
I like what peyton said, you can do anything youput your mind to and this job taking you out of a 'comfort zone' is perfect for showing how far you are capable of taking it.
who wants to be stuck in a dead end position?
Thanks, you guys!
