Musings
There's not much I have in mind tonight, but I thought I should post a little something. I can't believe I didn't mention that it snowed down here a few weeks ago. That is only the SECOND time that it has snowed since I have lived in Birmingham - in ten years! It was pretty exciting. Yes, it melted really quickly, but we just don't get any sort of wintery precipitation. I know you Wisconsinites are rolling your eyes, but you know how it is. Someone new is starting at work tomorrow so it should keep the day pretty busy. I have a new neighbor upstairs and he seems fine. We'll see. The jury remains out until he lives here a little longer. I have a notoriously bad time with loud neighbors ~ apartment living is truly for the birds. Boring, boring, boring. That's all, folks.

Ha, have you had the crack ho's stab each other, thereby resulting in not only an ambulance, but a pumper truck and what seemed like every cop car in the area at your apartment? Thankfully I was informed that they were "just visiting". They best not be getting a repeat invitation!
Was the other time it snowed in B'ham a time when I lived there? I don't really have a specific memory but I feel like it happened when I was there.
I do remember a New Year's Eve spent in Mississippi during my college years when it snowed. But my memories of Mississippi snow are that it happened once every two or three years. In fact my senior year of high school we got 7 inches.
Ummm, I waded through a foot of snow on the way to work this morning... 6 blocks = .75 miles of that. I am hating the snow right now.
I am always impressed when it snows down there. I remember how everything completely shuts down for a few weeks. The first time it snowed after we moved here I was shocked and appalled that I still had to go to school!
I didn't mean for a few weeks, I don't know WHERE that came from! LOL! It's 4:54 p.m. on Friday evening ok?
Sarah, it was my junior year, so yes, you would have been at BSC. It was during Interim, so maybe you were somewhere else at the time? I ended up partying at the Alpha Chi house and walking my "senior" paper to Munger that night to avoid having to do it in the morning. Good times.
