Back with a Vengeance
The insomnia, people. The Insomnia. I would love to lay down and get some rest, but the moment my head hits the pillow or I even think about going to bed I get nervous. Why? Who knows? I find that my anxiety is fine during the day, but the moment things quiet down and I let my mind wander, bad things happen. I start thinking about all the things that can or could go wrong and just worry myself to the point of stomach cramps, rapid heartbeat and an overall feeling of dread. I am just tired. I need some restful sleep.

You should start sleeping somewhere uncomfortable and continue to do so for a few days. Once you do that and then you go to bed in your luxurious bed you may fall right to sleep. I don't know that it will work, but it sounds better than my nutrition advice does it not?
I hate to say it, but all those "experts" that say you shouldn't watch your television or read in your bed are right. When I moved I no longer have a tv in my bedroom and I've found I sleep much better. Of course, that could be related to the new mattress too :o)
