A Disturbing Thought
When my dad passes away (or I just can't manage to tolerate his Scrooge-ness anymore) where am I going for the holidays? I've always gone home, but where will I go when there isn't a "home" per se? My brother is getting married in a few months and then he will be spending his time with his new family. Where am I going to go? Okay, I'm putting it out there...who wants and aging (somewhat) single woman for the holidays (not in the too too soon future)? Let me know - I'm accepting offers. I come with presents and my own stocking. All offers will be considered.

You are welcome in Germany while we are here :-)
Ohh, ohh, you should definitely come to my Christmas... maybe then it would actually be fun
Dude, here's the deal. We will travel for Christmas. We can see how all the other cultures of the world celebrate the holidays. Sounds cool, right?!
Where is my blathering? As I thought I posted yesterday: I have two kids now, or three depending on how you look at it, and Aunt Katie is always welcome here. Teddy too.
Katie, you (and Teddy!) will always be welcome to spend Christmas with me (and the cats)! I might ask you to make rice krispie treats. ;) But I will sit and watch Christmas movies with you and we'll have a grand ol' time.
I like Wendy's idea... that is my ideal way of spending the holidays.
