You know what makes me warm and fuzzy?
The song "Oh Holy Night." Everytime I hear a good version of it, I am almost brought to tears. I get chills and really feel like I am getting what Christmas is all about. Favorite version: The Three Tenors; Second Favorite version: Josh Groban (trust me, I am as surprised as you); Least Favorite version: Celine Dion (ick. double ick). Do you have a favorite carol?

I don't have one particular favorite, but I like anything Bing Crosby-esque with a vintage feel.
i love Christmas carole's. the "I'm dreaming of a white CHristmas" from Home Alone has been a long time favorite :)
remember Muculay Culken dancing around in the bathroom to this song...too cute!
it depends on the mood. i like the upbeat ones most of the time, but every now and then Silent Night, Away in a Manger, or O Holy Night will hit me just right. I went to Martina McBride's Christmas show two years ago and she closes with an unaccompanied O Holy Night. Amazing.
But you can't forget Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (Elmo & Patsy), Redneck Twelve Days of Christmas (Jeff Foxworthy), Muppet Twelve Days of Christmas, or Merry Christmas From The Family (Robert Earl Keen).
Oh Katie... that song warms my heart... a good version of this makes me misty.
Flashback: Do you remember the Christmas episode of "My-So-Called-Life" when they ended the episode with this song? (circa 1995)
Not to sound like a dork, but I was watching the RIck Steve's Christmas special last night on PBS and that song came on and I almost started crying... instead, I decided to put that energy into wrapping Christmas gifts.
Not to hog the comments page, but I would like to say that I prefer traditionally beautiful songs more than hokey contemporary songs (although those are appreciated given a particular time and place)
my grandmother and my mother are singing "oh, holy, night" at church on christmas eve. i am accompanying them on the piano. woot.
I am a little jealous of Rachel C- that sounds like fun :)
