First time in print...
I have decided what I am giving up for Lent. I wanted to pick something that was going to be a big sacrifice for me and I think I have picked a doozy. I am giving up beer. There, it is now on the record and I can't go back on it without incurring the wrath of the Lord. Usually (or this was the way we did it when I was a kid) you get to have your Lenten sacrifice on Sunday's, but I am picking Saturday as my day to indulge. If you are giving something up, let me know what it is and we can commiserate together. Goodbye, sweet ale, goodbye.

I want to give up something but it really doesn't count unless it's something that's important to you... and I can't bear to give up the things that are important to me!!
i thought about giving up chocolate, but i'm afraid it might cause some serious post-partum depression!!
I think the involuntary amounts of sleep and time to yourself is enough sacrifice. Don't you dare give up a thing! I think you should pick up something new!
Impressive sacrifice on the beer. I usually give up caffine, but decided that might not be too wise this year. Seeing as how I'd be going through my caffine withdrawals just as Kyle and I are about to spend 7 days on a boat together I decided it might not be the best idea. So, I decided I'd give up the vending machine at work instead :o)
Good call, Katy. Maybe you should give up being a pack rat ;)
I'll be posting my lenten sacrifice sometime today.
AS always, I will be giving up being Jewish on Wednesdays. Call me!
I fell into the hands of the evil vending machine today so I decided I would give up cursing instead. :o) I don't believe I'll actually make it all the way through without cursing, but I do want to reduce the amount of profanity I use on a daily basis. Living with guys has taken a toll on my vocabulary!
